 Global trade has been impacted drastically after a Ever Given(Evergreen) container ship got stuck in the Suez Canal on 23 March 2021 .The ship was operated by taiwan based company Evergreen Marine. It is leading to delay of everyday items for people around the world and it will get severe.Egypt itself is losing 12-14million USD per day.It lead to a disruption of 9billion USD worth of goods.Most importantly oil prices have increased more than 4percent in many countries because 24 of the 41 bulk carriers were oil tankers out of the 300+vessels waiting at both ends of the canal. This 193-km waterway  is crucial in connecting Europe and Asia. Located in Egypt, the artificial sea-level waterway was built between 1859 and 1869 linking the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. Its the shortest route between the Atlantic Ocean and  the Indian and western Pacific .It is also one of the busiest waterways in the world, nullifying the need to sail around the Cape of Good Hope in Africa...
